EXITOSO KICK-OFF DEL GUATEQUE CUBANO 2010

Con una entusiasta concurrencia se celebró recientemente  el “Kick-Off” del Guateque Cubano 2010, en el Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Hotel para repartir las mesas del mismo,  y que tendrá lugar el próximo 18 de abril, en el elegante Ballroom del propio Hotel. 

SUCCESSFUL KICK-OFF OF THE GUATEQUE CUBANO 2010

In a delightfully festive mood, dozens of guests and friends of the Cuban Museum met recently at the Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Hotel for the annual "Kick-Off" of the Guateque Cubano 2010, for the distribution of dining tables of the event which is to be held on April 18th in the elegant Ballroom of the hotel.
La señora Isabel Caballero, Presidenta del Comité de Amigos del Museo Cubano, auxiliada por las Co-Chairs, señoras Wilma Tuñón y Landy Torres, dió la bienvenida a los presentes, y explicó que el tradicional Guateque Cubano 2010, comenzará a las 11:30 de la mañana, con una Subasta Silente. A la 1:30 P.M. se servirá un almuerzo y la concurrencia podrá bailar a los acordes de la orquesta Miami Nites, con su ritmo CHAKACHA, bajo la dirección de Juan Carlos Ledón.

Mrs. Isabel Caballero, President of the Friends of the Cuban Museum Committee, assisted by Co-Chairs Mrs. Wilma Tuñón and Mrs. Landy Torres, welcomed the guests and explained that the traditional Guateque Cubano 2010 will begin with a Silent Auction at 11:30 in the morning.  Lunch will be served at 1:30 P.M. and guests will be able to dance to the rhythmic sounds of the Miami Nites orchestra, with its CHAKACHA rhythm, under the direction of Juan Carlos Ledón.

Una Sorpresa Musical, y el Concurso de Danzón, con premios para los ganadores, cerrarán el GUATEQUE CUBANO 2010. 
A Musical Surprise and the Danzón Contest, with prizes for the winners, will close the GUATEQUE CUBANO  2010.
