The Amigos of the Cuban Museum is a standing committee of the Cuban Museum, Inc. committed to support its activities and programs, providing human and financial resources according to the established annual dues. The Cuban Museum, Inc., founded in 1996, sprang from the inexorable need to create a center that gathers and exhibits the true history of the Cuban diaspora and the exile experience, for both our own self-value and for the awareness of future generations, thus fostering a better understanding among the various groups in the community at large. We invite you to share our experience and perseverance in fullfilment of the Cuban Museum's mission. TO PRESERVE AND SHARE THE CUBAN CULTURAL HERITAGE IN FREEDOM BROUGHT BY THE CUBAN DIASPORA THAT COMMENCED WITH THE 1959 EXODUS.

El Museo Cubano, S.A., fundado en 1996, surgió de la necesidad inexorable de crear un centro que recoja y muestre la verdadera historia del pueblo cubano en diáspora y la experiencia del exilio, para orgullo de nuestra generación y conocimiento de generaciones futuras, contribuyendo así a un mejor entendimiento con la comunidad en general.
