The vision of the Cuban Museum, Inc. is to establish a museum with the objective, among others: - To collect and preserve historical documents, relics, artworks, and memorabilia inherent to the Cuban cultural heritage.
- To provide educational and aesthetic opportunities to the community in regards to the various aspects of Cuban culture in freedom.
- To serve as a vehicle to Cuban intellectuals who love freedom and respect human rights, contributing to the cultural enrichment of the community, while building a better understanding with the community at large.
The Cuban Museum, Inc. has presented more than 30 cultural activities, free of charge to the public and to full houses - popular events covering the full spectrum of the Cuban cultural expression in a free society.

The Cuban Museum, Inc is managed by a Board of Directors that holds all the faculties conferred to it by the majority vote of its members. At present the Board of Directors is composed of: Dr. Ofelia Tabares-Fernandez, President and CEO; Alfredo Caballero, PhD., Vice President; Martha Carballo, CPA, Treasurer and CFO; Jorge E. Alonso, JD, Secretary; Yolanda Nader, MBA, CPA, Director; Cesareo Fernandez-Verges, MBA, Director; Víctor J. Citarella, Director; Rev. P. Jose Luis Menendez, Director; Margarita Muiña, JD, Director; and Carlos A. Sabater, Director.
The Cuban Museum, Inc operates by means of committees composed of intellectuals and professionals recognized in the different fields of Cuban culture: Music and Dance; Literature; History; Theatre and the Visual Arts.

The Cuban Museum, Inc enjoys a large community support, both moral and financial, that has given it the necessary means through donations, fundraising events, and the voluntary work of its Directors and Committees, especially the Committee of Friends, to present its cultural activities.
The Cuban Museum, Inc enjoys all the benefits granted by the Internal Revenue Code to not-for-profit organizations, in accordance with 501 (c) (3) and is registered and has the pertinent certifications to solicit and receive tax exempt donations. The Cuban Museum, Inc is a member of the American Association of Museums.
